Reed Morgan

Psychology Extern


Reed Morgan is a pre-doctoral advanced extern at Wellness Associates. He earned his M.A. in psychology from Fordham University in 2025 and is in his 4th year of training for his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Fordham. He is also currently an extern at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Behavioral Health Center. Reed has previously trained at the Manhattan Center for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Fordham University’s Counseling and Psychological Services, and the Fordham Community Mental Health Clinic. He has extensive experience providing evidence-based treatments, including cognitive-behavioral and third-wave therapies, to individuals with a variety of diagnoses. He has a particular interest in helping those struggling with anxiety and obsessive thoughts in any form.


Reed is also an active researcher whose work has included the psychological impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, risky alcohol use among college students, and emotion regulation and personality disorders. His current research at Fordham focuses on the role of emotional reactivity in anxiety and personality disorders and non-suicidal self-injury, and he is particularly interested in learning more about what helps patients engage effectively with treatment.
